Olumide Lala

Olumide Lala, provides leadership in the RCV climate finance practice. He is a Director and Co-founder of Climate Transition Limited, a bespoke consultancy that helps clients catalyze large investments in addressing global sustainability challenges and driving low carbon economies whilst aligning strategies and portfolios to the Paris Agreement.  Prior to joining Climate Transition Limited, he headed the Africa Markets Development Program at Climate Bonds Initiative, an international, investor-focused not-for-profit organization working solely on mobilizing the $100 trillion bond market for climate change solutions.

Olumide has devoted his career to helping business leaders and governments find solutions to the global challenges of climate change, sustainable finance and capital markets infrastructure development gaps.  He has provided advisory services to several financial institutions, regulators, and governments in countries across Africa. His areas of focus include sustainable development in emerging economies, climate change mitigation/adaptation strategies and climate finance.

Olumide has over 30 years Financial Services and Capital Markets experience delivering technology-enabled, strategic solutions and sustainable, low-carbon financing products that have created value and wealth to clients. He has worked on a broad range of advisory engagements and change initiatives at a number of international organizations including, JP Morgan, FCA, The Nigerian Stock Exchange.

​He holds an MBA from the Imperial College, London, UK, an MSc. in Business Systems Analysis & Design from London City University, London UK and a BSc in Accounting from the University of Hull, UK.
